Legitimately the best wallet I've owned. I carry cash in my other pocket anyways because I make tips at my job and 40 ones doesn't fit in any wallet. I have probably ten cards in mine and they stay there securely until I want to remove them.

I wanted something I could put four or five cards into and forget about and this sleeve is perfect for that. The leather is nice and thick but the total package is still thinner than my other wallet, even when the other wallet is empty. Some of the other reviews worried me a little bit but I bought this anyway and I'm glad I did. Looks like it's made to outlast its owner.

I've got to give Saddleback very high marks for their service and craftsmanship, but I'm sorry to say I'm disappointed with the Tobacco leather used to make my card sleeve. Based on my buddy's older ID wallet, I was expecting nice, stiff, slick leather that would age well and take on a nice patina. Instead, this feels like it was cut from an old pair of suede tennis shoes. It's floppy, fuzzy, and unlined (rough) on the inside. I know this is a great price point, but I think just about any other sleeve would be a better buy, even at double the cost. That said, I'd gladly buy another Saddleback sleeve if it was available in the old leather. I'm happy with the company, but not this product.

This is great, it holds all my important cards. It's very sturdy and I'm surprised at how much it has stretched to fit more cards. I love the little notch in the bottom that makes it easy to slide the cards out.

Love the sleeve it's perfect for keeping work IDs and proximity badges.... perfect size, leather smells great! $20 bucks well spent - now just stock the Tobacco pouch!

I purchased the Sleeve Wallet to carry my security access badge and a few business cards. I’ve been using a nylon credential wallet from MAXpedition and it has served me well. I discovered the Saddleback Sleeve Wallet and instantly wanted to upgrade to leather. I made several product inquiries to the staff at Saddleback and all were very helpful answering my questions. My Sleeve Wallet arrived in a timely fashion and was packaged and wrapped with care. The tobacco color is very rich and full of character. The leather is a nice thickness and expertly sewn and finished. My card is easily read by the security sensor so the thickness of the leather is not an issue. This is a beautifully crafted, simple, and very sharp addition my every day carry portfolio. Looking forward to breaking it in!

This wallet is perfect for all you really need. I carry a couple of credit cards, some cash, my drivers license and a couple of business cards. Nothing to break, plastic to wear out and light in your pocket. A must own item.

I have owned more wallets than I care to admit. Most recently, I was usinng a money clic that was lost inn an autoaccident. I replaced it with this wallet - it's perfect! Not to big but handles exactly what you need. All of the stuff I don't use stay in my SBL Briefcase.

I bought this to use as a business card carrying case and it's perfect. It holds on to the cards tightly, but still has enough extra width that I can squeeze it a bit to open it up and slide the cards out better. The standard business card size is a little longer than credit cards, but they fit in this wallet perfectly. It also has more character than any other business card case in existance.

Living in a city like Philadelphia, carrying a smaller wallet that is somewhat undetectable is a must. This wallet is everything a man can need for those purposes. It's totally undetectable in my back pocket of my jeans, while also being unnoticed in my suit jacket as well. The simplicity of this piece is what makes it beautiful. It may not look like it holds a lot, but the leather will stretch to allow you to carry a license, insurance cards, debit & credit cards, and cash without becoming to crazy thick. Exactly what I was looking for. Simple, big enough for an ID and a few credit cards, beautiful leather, and top notch construction. Invisible in my pocket, and unlike bulky wallets, when I sit down, I don't even realize it's there. No more lower back problems from sitting on a bulky wallet!

I have lower back problems and was looking to downsize my wallet by carrying only what i need on a daily basis. This leather wallet sleeve was just what i need. It holds a few cards and folded cash until it softens and then it will hold a few more! Its quality and construction appear to be first rate too. Cant wait to give it to my grandchildren in about 20 years so they can give it to theirs.!

I use another Saddleback wallet for my ID, cash, and cards. I I use this to carry a challenge coin. The coin has started to wear an imprint into the leather, which I really like. It is slowly breaking in and becoming softer and more supple with use. It really is awesome.

I own the window wallet and I use this one for my drivers license and nod debit card. Perfect for those occasions where you don't need everything plus the kitchen sink when you go out. I purchased this wallet three months ago as I was searching for a very minimal designed wallet for some cards and a small about of cash. At first, like with any leather product, it was very tough to get cards in and out. It did not take very long to break in. The wallet really does get better with age and I see this on a weekly basis. My load will vary from week to week and the wallet forms perfectly to whatever I need. I have tried a lot of other wallets (from some very high-end brands) and this is the best.

I've been carrying this wallet for about two months now. I was looking for slim wallet to replace my old bifold, and the wallet sleeve was what I was looking for. It's a very simple design, light weight, and great looking. It's hardly noticeable in my pocket, and it's light and slim enough to carry in the chest pocket of a suit coat.

The wallet was very stiff at first, but it only took about a week or so to get past that initial break-in stage, and it continues to soften and get better looking. I only carry 3 cards and 1-3 folded bills. Now that it's softened up a bit there's no difficulty sliding the cards in and out.

If you're the type who doesn't use a lot a cash and doesn't use you wallet as a file-folder for receipts, ticket stubs, photos, etc., then this wallet is a great option, but if that is you, then this wallet is not right for you.

Also, it's the least expensive leather product that Saddleback current sells. This is your gateway to quality leather.

I bought this one after my old one (some off brand, shiny black thing with a metal money clip that ate holes through three pockets in three pairs of pants like a hungry caterpillar) 'wore out'.

This is a wonderful looking, well-built work of art in the shape of a wallet. I hesitate to say rugged, although I am sure that it is tough, because that would make you think that it is not elegant. Its simplicity, thick leather, and tight stitching buoy its obvious elegance and guarantee years of use.

I am probably going to buy a black one, too.

I don't carry a wallet, I bought this to use as a business card holder to be tucked away in an iPad case somewhere. When I got it in the mail, it looked, felt, and smelled great, so I had to carry it around with me for a few days.

Excellent front pocket design, very high quality leather with a nice embossed 'Saddleback' emblazoned on the front. Very smooth, easy to get cards in & out. I normally carry one or two cards loose in my front pocket. This wallet is almost as invisible in a pocket as those two cards. Well worth the money, buy it.

I usually never write reviews on products unless it's really bad or really good. In this case, really good and more. I purchased the chestnut color a few weeks ago and haven't been more happy with this purchase. Before, I used to carry a bifold that carried 4-5 cards max and thought that this was slim as it gets, wrong. I received this sleeve expediently and was excited to use it. Like what others have said, was stiff at first and hard to get cards in but it has some flex to it now after some wear and tear. After 2-3 weeks of everyday use, stitching is still as good, no fraying and the leather looks good as new. I carry 3 cards in it and feels like I always leave my wallet at home because I can't feel anything back there. Great for those who like to travel light. Would definitely recommend this wallet to others! Great job Saddleback!

I ordered this wallet sleeve because I like the idea of a minimalist card and cash holder. Based on the Saddleback webpage content especially Dave's Q&A section I was convinced that these guys produce and sell great products. After I've ordered the wallet I was really blown away by the friendly and competent service of the Saddleback team. I've received my wallet yesterday and I have to say that the quality of this wallet is amazing. I can recommend this wallet to anyone who is looking for rugged quality product and a simple and functional design.

This wallet is exactly what's I'd been looking for, and I've no doubt it'll last the 100 years! The quality is obvious, and I certainly hope to add more of your products over the years.

Purchased the wallet sleeve with the ID wallet since it was way affordable and would be nice on nights out when I only wanted a few cards.

Like the Id wallet, it exceeded expectations. It is a minimal design but built with quality material.

Besides the beautiful leather sensory overload, it is a very functional design. I carried up to about 5 cards in it and even had 4 folded bills(folded into quarters). It does not appear to ever be able to hold half folded bills.

It is easy to use with the 'push-up- tab' at the bottom and the money doesn't get stuck in it either.

I'm planning to order a bunch as stocking stuffers.
