I got this for my husband to wear at work, he is a pilot. I think the leather is amazing and the craftmanship excellent. He absolutely oves it. I would highly recomend it.

Love this belt!, Quality is outstanding, like the 3/4 inches spacing for the belt adjustment. What a great value! Customer service is outstanding!
First, I love Saddleback, their craftsmanship, their products and covet everything in the catalog. But this belt misses the mark a bit. There really is not enough room between the front belt loops on Levis 505 jeans for the buckle and the belt retainer. Did Saddleback not even look at this common pair of jeans when designing the belt? I can make it fit, but the jeans belt loops are pushed aside. Other than that, it is a great looking, well-made belt.
I bought one in black a few months ago and just ordered a second in chestnut. The belts are the sturdiest I've found (typical saddleback) and keep their shape well. Sizing is perfect. The only thing I would change is the width. It needs to be 1.25". It's almost to wide to fit my pants. Almost. Otherwise great belt. Thanks Dave!
ordered this in dark coffee brown and it arrived quickly. This belt is thick and looks really nice. Sizing was perfect after following the measuring instructions. The 1.5 inch size is perfect but it will fit very tight into the keeper loop and belt loop once it doubles over at the end. Any wider and it wouldn't fit the belt loops. The quality is excellent. This is by far the best quality belt I've owned. The horizontal stitching is a beautiful detail that really makes the belt unique. Very well done.
I got this belt specifically to wear with my nicer clothes (dress pants, shirt and tie) to work. It's great! Since it's a wide belt (compared to my old belt, which this belt makes look like cardboard) it's almost too wide for the belt loops on a couple pairs of pants I have... But I'd sooner give those pants a 3-star review than this belt! I love it! Get yerself one!
This belt is absolutely fabulous, and the quality of the leather and craftsmanship are suburb. I bought it in the tobacco color, and it's perfect. I have a slim build with a 32 waist and the 34 inch belt fits perfectly with the keeper in the middle hole. This is a hefty belt that's just right for jeans to give a great casual but truly refined look. I am very happy with my purchase, and would recommend this belt without reservations. Saddleback Leather offers great quality products at a fair price and even donates part of the sale to a worthy cause. This is a nice touch that makes this company all the more appealing. I definitely give this product and this company a five star rating!
Recently purchased of a couple different colors of the four stitch belt. Was extremely pleased in the overall quality and style. As appropriate in a business setting as it is a welcomed addition for casual use. I personally do not believe I will ever be able to purchase another brand of belt besides Saddleback. You do not realize the difference in quality until you actually purchase if, photos do it no justice. Only downside is that the product line is addictive. Keep up the good work.
This is a solid belt and fits well... I wear 36 width pants and the 36 size belt fits well in the 5th hole.
I wish saddleback would offer this or one of their other belts in 1.25in width. 1.5in is, for my taste, too wide for most cotton pants and won't fit dress pants. I also got a "Two belt" which seems to be even sturdier/thicker but therefore heavier, the top leather of the "Two belt" seems to be a bit nicer as well, but that might just be the case for the two belts that I own. Sizes are identical. The stitching is regular and nice.
Strong belt (of course)! I purchased both Carbon Black and DCB. Carbon Black is the old color which is awesome. I have several other pieces from SBL but these are the first without a lab stamp. This made my children sad as they like to hunt for the stamp. My only real complaint is because it is so thick it won't go through the loop on my suit pants a second time once through the buckle. Make sure you get the right size or you will have a dangly bit past the buckle on your pants with tight loops. Size is perfect if you follow the sizing guide, 33" waist 34" belt using one hole in from the center.
I was in Tunisia, North Africa once, taking a little cool off break in the Mediterranean, when I looked down and realized I had forgotten to take off my belt. Saltwater on the leather wasn't my concern. That was easy. I just had to soak it in fresh water for 24 hours. The problem was a lot of the dye from the belt went running down my shorts when I got out. And since I only had a couple extra pairs on the extended trip, it was very inconvenient when convenience really mattered. You don't realize how much you depend on a belt until you're inadvertently dropping trow in a strange medina. If you absolutely positively must depend on a belt, depend on this one. Worst case scenario, one piece of leather tears, you rip the stitching and cut it off the damaged leather and you use the second piece with the buckle. Of course, if you're in a situation where your belt tears almost in half, I suspect that the least of your concerns is the belt.
