Just received this wallet and I am truly impressed! I purchased the long trifold wallet in tobacco and it's gorgeous. There is plenty of room for all my needed items and the quality of the leather is obvious. So very glad I purchased this... they really will fight over it when I'm dead!

I just received my Long Tri Fold wallet in black. It is absolutely gorgeous and smells terrific! It has plenty of room for everything. I hope to have this wallet for the rest of my life. Thank you for making quality leather products.
I recently order this trifold wallet in the chestnut color and I love it! Has plenty of room for what I need. The leather was a little stiff till it works in, then its fine. I would highly recommend this wallet. Love the smell of the leather.
This is Quality at its best, I just received my trifold wallet and I love it and it smells great. This will be the last wallet I will buy, it will last until I die. All my Saddleback leather goods will go on my will. Saddleback also has awesome customer service.
Oh. My. Goodness!!! I literally just opened this like ten minutes ago! birthday present from my fiance!!!! best gift ever!!! If you want quality, this is it!!
Got this in DCB for Christmas. This is a normal sized wallet that holds my checkbook. Fortunately, it is not thick and heavy like you would expect from SB. It is the perfect sized wallet. I love the lighter color pigskin lining- makes visibility of contents easier.
Just received the Tri Fold wallet in Tobacco to accompany my Simple Tote in Tobacco. Absolutely beautiful, amazingly well made wallet! The Tobacco is a very rich with wonderful depth of color and compliments this wallet nicely. While the Tri Fold is relatively slim it holds quite a bit and has just the right amount of slots/pockets to keep you organized. Delicious smell of leather, quality workmanship and gorgeous color with marbling round out this wallet. Another great product from Saddleback!
I previously bought a Saddleback Leather Hobo Crossbody Purse for my daughter. She loves it so much that I decided to get her the matching wallet. I think I collected a lifetime of "good daddy points" from my daughter.
This was my Christmas present, and love it more and more! It's great to use as a clutch wallet and goes perfect with the SBL handbag too! Enjoying the new tobacco color!
Got this for Christmas in Tobacco, and I love it! It goes great with my tobacco large tote. This is my third product from SBL and I have a purse from Love 41. I always get excited when people ask me about your products and to see there faces when I talk about the 100 year/41 year warranty! lol. Keep up the great work!
I am a avid fan of all of saddleback's leather products. And once again they knocked it out of the park with this new wallet. It's very slim design which makes it easy to fit in my jacket pocket when I'm traveling. All my cards and checkbook fit inside with some extra room for loose change and passport. This item would be a great gift and be a treasured wallet for anyone who is lucky enough to own it.
I just received this wallet and the medium bifold wallet in the mail today. Both are just beautiful. The long wallet has plenty of space and fits my essentials as well as my iPhone 6. The bifold is Christmas gift for my dad, and seeing it in person, I'm now sure he will love it! I've always loved the smell of tack shops and now I can smell that daily with my new wallet! Thank you for a great product! Now, to save up for the tote bag...
I recently bought this wallet and it is perfect. Been using it for a few weeks now and I it's starting to break in on the parts that I most use. Card slots are a little tight at first, but like all Saddleback leather, it will soften with use (as it is starting to with mine). The size is just right, not too big but not too small either. Just enough to carry all the essential stuff plus little more room for other items. The coin pouch is big enough to put my extra cards in as well. I use the cash compartment for my iphone 5 (for when i have no bag and am carrying only the wallet with me on quick runs to the mall) and the deep cash compartment for notes/cash. The overall quality and aesthetics is top notch. I would highly recommend this wallet.
I just got the trifold brown wallet to match my backpack.Very practical and gorgeous, the quality of the leather is simply incredible.
Love it I have it in tobacco. It works great with my chestnut small tote. Thanks for the great products. May you always be blessed.
I recently purchased the Long Trifold Wallet to go with my Hobo. It's the perfect size! I purchased it in black to match my Hobo and to go with business as well as casual attire. It easily holds a checkbook and cash with just enough room for credit cards and other items. The large coin pouch is ideal for any small items that you need to carry too, making it perfect to just grab and go without always needing to carry a purse into a store or restaurant. I highly recommend the Long Trifold Wallet!
I really love the Long Trifold Wallet. It holds everything nicely with room to spare. There is a slot behind the ID window that is too small to fit anything into though. Overall it has great quality and design and should last me for a very long time.
I just received my trifold wallet, the smell of it is addicting. I love Saddleback products THIS IS QUALITY at its best. I don't have to worry about buying another wallet. This wallet should last me until I Die, and all my Saddleback Leather products I bought is going on my will.
I got myself a DCB LT wallet. Don't be fool by its size. It can hold as much as big wallet. The new lining is as soft as the top of our hand which is very nice to touch. It will fit your back jeans pocket and jacket inside breast pocket with no problem. I wish SBL could extend the new lining to the Chestnut as that is my favourite colour.
Thanks again SBL for the new wallet. It will be of great use for those who carry many coins instead of cash notes.
This week I received a tobacco and a carbon Long Trifold Wallet.
Leather is softer then epacted. It fits a checkbook and plenty of cash, deep enaugh to stash foreign currency.
For me a must have.
I've always been an avid fan of Saddleback's leather products and have bought many of their products. With this new Long Trifold Wallet, Saddleback has hit it out of the park once again. The slim design fits well inside any jacket pocket and is superb for traveling (if your looking for something smaller than Saddleback's Big Leather Wallet, which is also a great buy) as it comfortably fits my passport, all my cards and my checkbook. This wallet would be a great gift for anyone and would be grateful to have it.
Most reviews for this were written from the female perspective and I was thus concerned about buying it as I was unsure of how it would work for a guy. I'll save you the suspense...it's fantastic. This is my daily wallet. Yes it is large and sticks out of my pocket about 2.5 inches. Yes it's a bit bulky and may hurt to sit on for long periods of time. Yes I've learned to deal with it and have come to appreciate all it has to offer. Places for all my cards, southwest drink coupons and more. As a traveler having everything accessible is a must, and this is perfect. If you're a man considering a large wallet, get this one. If you wear a jacket or carry a bag on a regular basis, it's a no brainer. If your a larger guy like me, carrying in your back pocket isn't a big deal. Love the wallet. Love the company. God bless.
Yes! That wonderful leather smell was the first thing that hit me when I opened the box. Then I got my first glimpse of the long trifold wallet and I knew I'd made the right choice. It is perfect for my needs. The card slots are a bit snug, but they will open up over time. The slot behind the ID opening...well, not sure what purpose that serves as you can't put a card of any size there. Maybe a secret stash area for cash? I ordered this wallet specifically for my passport and very happy that if fits without getting squished on side as can happen with other similar sized "travel" wallets. Ordered it in DCB only because I prefer the light colored interior. My favorite color is chestnut, but I don't care for the dark interior. Also ordered the new cover for IPAD Air and found it to be a perfect fit. My husband has the older cover for IPAD 2 and it has worn well over the last 2 years. Overall, I love Saddleback products. Now looking at the slim wallet for my son. If you're considering purchasing from Saddleback you should go for it. You will not be sorry about your decision.
Great quality and craftsmanship as usual. The design was well thought out, except for one thing. The length is too short by about a inch and a half. A 81/2x11" piece of paper won't fit in it if you fold it in thirds unless you fold over one of the ends as well. I was looking for something to put receipts in, printed off itineraries, boarding passes, etc. I really like the thinner profile and how it fits in my pockets. Just wish it was long enough to fit the paper in. A friend did comment it was nice to have boarding passes sticking out to grab as you board the plane. If I want it sticking out, I could just put it in the wallet with one end sticking out.
Overall a great wallet, carries currency nicely, passport and some credit cards all very nicely. Will teach me to read the dimensions closer next time.
I had my eyes on this wallet for quite some time and finally bought this for myself in the Christmas of 2013. I had this shipped to my cousin and California who brought this in for me when she went home for the holidays. This is my first Saddleback product and it felt so good to hold it once I took it out of its bag. The carbon black color looked so bad-ass and I felt it suited me so well. However, I immediately contacted Customer Care to provide feedback on the card slots, as two out of the 6 card slots were stuck together (I took care of this by sticking my finger and prying them apart--which I was not able to do so gently as the leather is quite thick --and the stitching was super tough). Carlie from Customer Care took my feedback immediately and was so lovely about it! So far, from my overseas online purchases, Saddleback Leather customer care folks are the fastest and warmest people I've ever talked to.
I am currently targeting the lovely leather tote as my next purchase by the end of the year, and I won't think twice about purchasing it once am able to afford it. :D I think it would be unfair to recommend this wallet for just the ladies, because I am pretty sure that ANYONE who's into fantastic wallets without any metal hardware would love this. The straps fit their intended slots so snugly. I just think this wallet is perfect.
I knew it was a bad idea to fly into Nairobi for the day. And that next day I added two never-to-be-altered rules in my life.
Rule #1 is because our video guy Joe and I had to be at the airport by 12:30 a.m. to get to Kenya and be back at the airport at 11:30 p.m. the same day. That means no sleep for almost two full days.
Rule #2 is because in Africa, cash is king and credit cards are jokers. With all of the trips to Africa, I knew this, but for some reason, I only brought $180 cash for the day. I completely forgot that the visas to enter Kenya cost $50 each and our last visas had just expired (now only $80 left and taxis across town were about $60 each way. And only Visa debit cards work in ATM’s, not MasterCard or Amex). And even if you call ahead to let your credit card company know where and when you’ll be traveling, they usually block your cards anyways, just to make sure there’s no fraud. And then later that night before we flew back, we took some other friends of ours out to dinner, my treat, and none of my credit cards worked. So my friend, Matt Chancey, who had helped me out the entire day because I didn’t have enough cash, ended up having to pay for dinner too. I swore it would never happen again. FYI, the exchange houses and banks accept newer unmarked and un-torn $100 bills 2006 and newer only.
Built to fit a passport, with deep pockets for loads of any-sized cash, another for receipts, RFID shielding, a Euro coin pocket and a healthy number of cards slots, could there be a better world traveling wallet than the Long Trifold?
