Received my messenger bag, just in time for my wife's birthday. We live in The Netherlands. The amount of import VAT and duties imposed on this bag was liked a third of the value of the bag. Oooch!
Hope to be posted to Texas or any part of the United States...and to enjoy the free shipping once again. For my wife, the price is insignificant, as long as she is happy and I can sleep soundly at night. Ha.
Thanks, SBL team.
I've had the bag for about two months now, and have been using it everyday. This is a followup from my first review and I wanted to share my opinions after a period of constant usage.
First off, the construction is solid. No questions there, this bag is built to last. It is also rather heavy, my assessment of that has not changed.
I would like to dwell a bit on the tobacco colour. It is my opinion that the colour shown on the website is no accurate to the one that you get. I did a fair bit of Google search and I believe SBL in the past had a dark tobacco and a light tobacco colour. I think the one pictured is the light tobacco, while the one we get is the dark tobacco colour. I was slightly disappointed that I did not get the one pictured on the website. It has a light, sandy-beige must-textured brown going for it.
In reality, this bag is rather milk-chocolate brown in colour. It's still ok, but not as striking as you see in the pictures. Also the leather has an interesting quality. I believe the leather used is semi-aniline leather, and on the front of the bag that doesn't get constant friction, you will notice light scratches which will show up a lighter shade of brown, but on the backside of the bag which is always rubbing against your sides/bum when you carry it, the leather is soon polished to a smooth, silky brown.
All in, great bag, but if you get the tobacco one, don't be surprised if the colour doesn't match the picture. I think SBL should update the colour on the website. P.S. I'm a photographer, so my screen is already calibrated with SpyderPro and is showing accurate colours.
After deliberating for a while on the Saddleback brand, watching all the videos, reading a lot of the company's philosophy, I finally pulled the trigger and placed my order for this Messenger Bag. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I was especially fortunate, because as I intended this to be for my personal casual use, I was aiming for the tobacco brown colour. This must be a very popular colour because several other models are out of this colour (and I can see why), and after I made payment, I realised I got the last tobacco brown Messenger Bag of this batch because it's now out of stock. Lucky! =)
Delivery to Singapore was fast and efficient, well-tracked and delivered on-time by UPS; I ordered it on Thursday morning Texas time, and got the bag the following Tuesday afternoon Singapore time.
I had mixed first impressions of the bag. The positive was that this bag is every bit as well-made as described on the website and by other reviewers. This bag exudes serious manufacturing quality and I can see why the company backs a 100-year warranty on their products. This bag if not bullet-proof, would certainly be spear-proof at least. It's tough as nails and I believe it can stand up to some serious abuse should you wish to subject it to.
My initial impression of the colour of the bag was more muted. I specifically chose tobacco brown because on the website it's a light sandy-ish brown with uneven patches of matte and shine which, I believe, would lend itself very nicely to aging and the patina it can form. However, the second thing that struck me as I took it out of the plastic bag (the first being that awesome smell of leather that permeated my room immediately the moment the plastic bag was punctured!) was that the colour was wrong! That's not what I ordered! The reason was because the colour was more of a dull matte milk chocolate brown. It was a really matte shade of even brown, none of that glorious texture I saw on the website. I moved the bag out of my room and took a look under natural sunlight and it was still the same colour. Initially I thought I was given the Dark Coffee Brown by mistake, but a quick comparison with the Coin Purse I got in that colour in the same order proved that wasn't the case. Somewhat disappointed, I proceeded to condition it with the Chamberlain's Leather Milk No. 1 that I had also ordered. My fears were confirmed when I applied that on, and the leather remain that same shade of brown, except that it is now wet.
Thankfully, after I let it dry overnight and took it out, I noticed the colour lightening and lightening and now its almost like the colour on the website. I have two hypotheses on why this happened. First, it is my understanding that the company gives a rub of the leather milk before sending the bag out. I'm not sure if that was done in this case or I'm reading too much into it, but that could be one reason why the bag arrived in a much darker shade of brown. The other is that it could be that being sealed in an airtight plastic for a period of time could have caused the leather to darken. Anyway, all's well that ends well, just writing it down here for future customers who order the tobacco brown. It's already developing some nice light scratches that's lending a wonderful texture and contrast to the leather.
Another point to note is, like other reviewers have stated, this bag has got some weight to it! I'm no slouch at 6' 1 and 220lbs with fairly well developed trap muscles, but I must say even said traps are feeling it when I load this puppy with a Macbook Air 11-inch with charger, iPad 2 and a 23,000mAh battery pack. I would consider carrying it backpack-style in future if I carry a heavier load. However, this is a necessary weight because this is a thick tough bag; to demand the weight be reduced by thinning the leather used is a self-defeating exercise. Therefore those of slighter build have been caveat emptor'd.
The divider provided is a useful touch, and I find it handy to separate my iPad and MacBook Air from other contents in my bag. Having said that, I would caution that this bag, while having a thick hide, is not cushioned like your average laptop bag and the use of, say, a neoprene sleeve for your laptop would be advisable, especially if your laptop doesn't have an SSD, or still contains an optical drive.
Interior slots on the sides are provided. These are deep, tight slots, and if anything falls in, it would be a bit troublesome to fish out. I carry ballpoint pens in my bag in the interior side slot provided by clipping them on. Ink stains, I'm sure, are imminent, but a handy tip I learned online was to carry a normal pencil eraser with you, and should you notice an ink stain the moment it's made, rub it with the eraser and the ink stain should come off. But it won't be effective if the ink has set.
Side pockets are not particularly useful for water bottles; you'd be lucky to fit a 500ml PET bottle into it. It would, however, fit a standard Ray-Ban sunglass case perfectly and rather snugly too, so it's a secure fit for easy access. However, you should remove all items from the side pockets when entering a pickpocket area.
All in, I'm expecting many years of good use from this bag and with luck, hand it down to my children; honestly I can't be arsed who gets it after I kick the bucket, but it'll be there, I'm sure. I shall endeavour to post updates at lengthy intervals to provide feedback on how the bag is coming along.
Lastly, if Dave and Co. are reading this, thanks for making such an excellent bag. Could I please request that as part of your leather education series, you share some tips on how one can protect one's fine leather when living in a hot and humid area? I notice that most of the literature in this area focuses on folks who live in hot and DRY climates. What would Indiana Jones do?
This bag is incredible.
Firstly let me start with the logistics, as an international buyer there are a few extra considerations to take into account when ordering a bag of this price. I am based in the UK and the following describes how much it costs to get it to your front door (costs dependent on exchange rate at the time).
The bag itself costs $382 (£250), Shipping costs $67 (£40), Customs charges $86 (£50). So the total will come to around $535 (£350). From time of ordering to receiving my bag... a little over 2 weeks. You can track the package at all stages of the journey (Note: very quick to come out of the US, time taken seems to be at the Customs/Parcelforce end in the UK).
So the bag, packaging is excellent and my box arrived unscathed. As you have probably seen on youtube, the box and the bag are stuffed with brown paper and the bag wrapped in plastic.
First impressions on opening... the bag is bigger than anticipated, a very substantial size, the smell is incredible and the quality of workmanship is evident from the first moment. This bag was not a daves deal, and every stitch, rivet, seam is impeccable. The tobacco colour is amazing, personal preference I know, but it is truly stunning.
The handle on top of the bag is very substantial indeed, chunkier and more robust than I'd imagined. Same goes for all of the components to be honest... the front buckle, the strap, the clips etc... they all just ooze quality. As expected, everything is a little stiff to begin with, until broken in, but not overly so.. opening the buckle the first few times does not require excessive force.
The side pockets I was worried about a little, however I am pleasantly surprised. Remembering that the leather is still stiff... if I pull them out and measure with a ruler.. they pull out to about 6cm in depth and are 9cm roughly in width. A 330ml can of coke fits in nicely as does a plastic bottle of 550ml coke. I am sure these will stretch to accommodate larger bottles over time. I've test quite a few thin thermos flasks and water bottles in local stores and these pockets will be just fine.
The back pocket is generous and very handy for sliding in magazines and papers. The internal space is also generous ... nice and deep with a beautiful pigskin finish on the inside. The pen pocket is very tight up against the side of the bag, whereas the opposite pocket is a little more floppy.. over time this will loosen up too I am sure. The key chain strap is a handy addition, although I need to tuck it into the side pocket when walking as it bangs on the inside - perhaps this wouldn't happen if I actually put my keys on there to weigh it down.
As for weight, I was braced for the heaviest bag in the universe, having read too many forums.. but it is nothing like that. Yes it is a substantial bag, but not overly so. Even fully loaded with my laptop I have no issues walking with it in messenger format. Not tried the backpack setup, but I just don't need to for my purposes.
So, a true buy it for life item, astounding quality, lots of space. This thing will outlast me. If you can't afford it, save up for it. Don't be tempted by knockoffs or cheaper alternatives.. save up for this and enjoy it when it arrives. I am.
I purchased this because I loved my thin front pocket briefcase I had ordered a year ago and I needed something to travel with that had a little more space. The Messenger Bag did not disappoint! As with all products here it is of high quality and very good looking - I have received many compliments when I travel about the bag. It has plenty of space, and although I generally carry a Surface tablet, it looks to have enough space to hold a full sized PC. The side pockets are great for stuff some of my smaller things, including my phone. Inside there are two pockets built into the side that are great for holding my pens and other small items, although you have to be careful that they are big enough to not fall into the bottom of them - I think you would have a challenge fishing them out. The color is beautiful and the hardware accents the bag perfectly. Very pleased with this purchase.
I bought this as a gift for myself after getting a promotion. People at work, saw it, started buying their own. Whenever and wherever I travel, I get compliments and I think it getting better looking with wear.
In a world where everything is disposable, I like that I have a piece that will last and not go out of style. Looking at what my next Saddleback purchase will be.
Likes: Bullet-proof. Beautiful. Well-made.
Dislikes: Heavy. But, I knew that going in. Haven't gotten smart how to hang on other luggage yet.
I purchased the messenger bag on Dave's Deals for a steal, and after 6 months of daily use I still can't figure out what's "wrong" with it. I use this bag as my diaper bag, and while it's heavier than others, the quality is superb. I can easily fit both cloth and disposable diapers, wipes, sunscreen, extra clothes for the baby and his brother, snacks, and water bottles for my toddler and I. The only tricky issue with the bag is trying to get the buckle undone in a hurry while carrying a baby. I've taken to just hooking the first hole without feeding the strap through the buckle so I can get in and out quickly.
Functional AND beautiful! I get stopped EVERY TIME I wear the bag (and my baby! ) and people always want to touch the beautiful leather. I love knowing that this bag will last long after I send my boys to college with it, and that we're supporting a great family business and a great charity by purchasing with Saddleback.
My father-in-law was raised in Leon, Mexico and is from a leather-trade family. Every time he comes to visit, he wants to get his hands on my Saddleback bags and spends over an hour talking about the quality of their design, materials, and construction. I've made a Saddleback convert out of him as well!
I have owned the Messenger Bag for four years and it has been carried almost daily for three of those. The bag is built extremely well. I was tired of buying new bags every two years because they wore out or began to look ragged. This bag just looks better with age. I love using it as my personal item when travelling by air as it fits well underneath the seats.
The divider is also very useful. I have carried a MacBook Pro in the bag with no sleeve, just using the divider to keep other items away from it. I've done this for years and it's worked really well.
There are a few things I would change. If I could give 4.5 stars I would. The side pockets are almost useless because they are so small. A little extra leather there would allow more items to fit into them. I would love to be able to fit a water bottle in there. The other thing I would change is that one inside pocket sits lower than the other. This makes it hard to get items out of the lower pocket. That is a nitpicky thing I know, but after years of use it's something I would change.
I got the messenger bag in black from Dave's Deals. No idea what the flaw was with it except maybe a couple of scratches which it would have gotten anyway. Got this as a mid-size option between my large classic briefcase and my medium round satchel. I'm really happy you guys brought back the proper black colour instead of that horrid scuffy carbon colour, now all my Saddleback products match and my black pouch can move happily between bags, clipped to the front with my headphones and coin pouch in it.
I was a bit dubious of the lighter coloured pig skin lining. It looks striking in the photos but I could imagine it getting very grubby over time. I was pleased to find when I received the bag that the lining is not as pale as it appears on the website. Its more of a natural leather colour than a bright beige colour. I have noticed though that after carrying some coloured paper file folders home from work, some of the blue colour has rubbed off on the lining. I wiped most of it off with a damp cloth but some remains. Eventually this won't be much of an issue, it's just the usual when you first receive a beautiful new expensive item - the first few marks and scuffs are heartbreaking, then you get over it :)
The messenger bag works great as a backpack, far more comfortable than my other Saddleback bags when worn this way.
One thing I have always wondered with your bags though, the website states the exterior side pockets can be used for water bottles, you guys must have tiny water bottles over there, because I've never been able to fit one in!
A bit bigger than one might expect. I sat in front of the computer with a measuring tape trying to get an idea of how big it was, I do not know how many times. It was bigger than I pictured, which is cool. I like the product because it is simple and rugged. I have several other bags from SBL, but I think this is the best thing a person can buy from this company for the money. Nothing this cool is as low cost.
The only thing I really wasn't insanely excited about was the handle. It seems like it could have been rolled and riveted tighter, but it is completely functional. I just would have made it tighter.
In any event, it is very comfortable as a backpack as well as a messenger bag. It also looks good strapped to a motorcycle or a bicycle. I do both.
Fun. Big. Affordable. Jesus saves.
Bought my bag back in July of 2012. figured I'd write a review that can give people some input based on a long term review. Currently use my bag to carry my work laptop, notepad holder (Not SBL's), eagle creek 1/4 pack for cables and stuff. The bag is still a little stiff on the sides but the corners and flap open up a lot easier. This bag goes from home to car to office and then back most days. Mine doesn't have a lot of scratches but ones that are there are all due to my nails or hitting the car door when I throw it in the back seat.
I have cleaned it every 3-6 months. I use the bag everyday and it has been on trips with me to Scotland, Houston TX and New York. held up great! It finally got a coating of No. 3 water protection. Didn't change the color. (Coffee brown) This leather absorbs leather milk like crazy! It loves the stuff. Next purchase will probably be a Front Pocket briefcase due to the need to carry more stuff. And I feel it will travel better then the messenger bag.
Bottomline: Durable and worth every penny! LOVE IT!
I received my messenger bag a few weeks ago. I ordered the tobacco color. I am truly pleased that I made this purchase. The bag is incredible. The quality is superb. The feel of the leather is amazing. The color is spot on. The first day I walked into work with this bag it took me 30 minutes to get to my desk. Several folks stopped me and commented on how awesome the bag looks. I've owned other leather bags from places like Orvis and Colonel Littleton but let me tell you that the quality and design of those other bags do not compare to what I received from Saddleback. If I could I would shake Dave's hand and thank him personally for creating such a wonderful bag. If you are out there mulling over wether or not to make the purchase because of the price, don't hesitate anymore and just do it. It is well worth the price and you'll see that the bag is made to last a long time.
Quality is outstanding and great looking bag....good space and roomy enough for my Surface Pro3, wallet, keys and other items...I found it more comfortable on my shoulders than most bags I own even though it's a heavier leather and stays on my hip and I don't have to keep adjusting it...vintage look but a very classy bag...glad I purchased this bag and won't be buying a new bag for a long time...great price point for a bag of this quality...once the leather breaks in it will be even better...great for everyday use is which I use it for as well as when I travel...
all it is said to be, very pleased with the product----I didn't need any of the corner hardware, bit too 'blingy' for me--- so simply clipped them off with a bolt cutter-----perfect bag for me now !
Cannot go anywhere without compliments------honestly-----get them all the time.
This was my first purchase from SBL, I've been waiting a while to take the leap, and I'm not disappointed. I originally purchased the Rounded Satchel but upon receiving the bag I noticed there was no way it could hold a 15" laptop. I took a gamble on the messenger bag and won, it fits beautifully. I like Dave included a spacer, which is important because I'd hate to scratch my laptop. A little small interior, but again that's to be expected, this isn't the Classic Briefcase. This is my everyday work bag and it fits the bill, I can't wait to go into downtown NYC and convert this into a backpack!
I just received my bag via UPS and was so excited to get home to open it when I saw the tracking that it was delivered. This chestnut colored bag filled the room of the great smell of leather(not some dead goat smell like the cheap leather goods you can find online).
This is the real deal. The bag is very sturdy and the hardware is awesome. I am planning to use this for work or wherever my journey takes me. That is exactly how I feel when I have the bag slung over my shoulder. I did shorten the strap with the plentiful existing holes so the bag rides higher more so on my hip and kidney area than the side of my thigh and buttock.
Everything is perfect! The bag was surprisingly more supple than I thought, my perceived perception from hearing other YouTube reviews. The only downside I have was because I was hoping to find a keychain that I saw in so many review videos. Oh well, I guess I can live with the georgeous bag and 100 year warranty sans a freebie keychain. Thanks Dave and Saddleback leather, you have a new customer for a lifetime.
While I am only a little over a week into my new Messenger Bag in Chestnut, all I can say is what an amazing product. Slightly larger than a medium satchel, but not so large is to seem like/feel like a briefcase. The perfect amount of space for a mid-size laptop, work files and the usual accessories. This will be my EDC except on those days when I need a slightly larger bag to accommodate multiple laptops, etc. I'm looking forward to the Tobacco color coming back in stock so that I alternate.
I'd give it 5 stars, but I've not had it long enough to see how it will break-in/wear over time.
I got this off Dave's Deals for a 15% discount in 2013. I still have yet to find out what was wrong with it, and it's been well over 2 years.
I loved this bag in the beginning, but soon found it was not "the perfect bag" for me. I ride a scooter, and this bag was great when used as backpack while riding, but too bulky to fit in my underseat storage compartment. Actually, I could in fact cram it under there, it was just inconvenient. I also noticed it was bit heavy for everyday use for my taste. Overall I realized I needed and wanted a smaller bag. But, I must find an excuse to glorify this bag anyway, because it's still well-built and gorgeous. I used it as weekend bag for a church retreat, and being somewhat a tomboy I didn't care to pack much, but the following fit in there with aggressive encouragement: 2 pairs of jeans, 3 shirts(using a roll-up method), 3 pairs of socks/thunderwear, a slim travel case with a toothbrush, paste, mascara, chapstick, travel-size face cleanser, washcloth, a pair of flipflops in one outer pocket, and a sunglasses case in the other. With some rope, I secured a rolled up sleeping bag to the d-links underneath. it. was. AWESOME.
I was very excited to get this but when I opened the box I noticed a lot of scratches and scuffs for a new bag. I called and sent pictures and asked for a return label but I have not received one yet. I feel like they sent me a used bag that someone returned. I have another bag from saddleback leather that I've been using for about 3 months now and it's not this scratched up. The leather is very nice and I love the color but the hardware/rings are a bit large and heavy for me. I would probably get use to it. It would be nice if they sold a lighter version of the strap separately and maybe a version of this bag without the heavy handle on top. I do hope everything goes well with this and they take it back because there are several items I would like to buy in the future.
I received this as a gift, albeit with some very strong suggestion on my part. I was perseverating between asking for this one or the medium thin briefcase--they're both similar in price and they look to hold around the same amount of stuff. However, the messenger was vertically oriented, which made it seem more mobile. I'm glad I went with the messenger, as it is definitely more mobile, so I'm not accidentally smacking people on the bus or in the airplane aisle. This one hits the sweet spot; not too business-like or overly dressy/fussy, but still enough to take seriously.
This is a substantial bag, no doubt about that, and heavy, so if you're used to near-weightless ballistic nylon, be prepared (although looking at leather bags, you should be). The leather pads are more comfortable than I thought they'd be. I'm usually carrying a portfolio full of papers, a book, an iPad, and a Saddleback cable bag full of chargers and a small Moleskine. The divider is handy and does its job, but if you prefer, you can take it out and use it as a writing surface or a desk pad. There's a handy pocket for pens, and a slightly bigger pocket on the other side for larger items, for instance, an EDC folding knife (to me, it's the perfect size for a glasses case). I also ordered a belt pouch months ago, which fits the strap perfectly and holds items conveniently (this was a great item and it's unfortunate that it's not currently available). If you're used to tons of hidden zipper pockets like I was, it will make you rethink your packing approach, but that's for the best.
From a design perspective, it's just perfect. You'll catch yourself staring at it. It's rugged, but it doesn't look like camping gear, or overly military (I don't feel like I'm playing soldier like with tactical bags with MOLLE systems, etc.).
A couple of things that almost caused me to mark four stars: If you cinch up the strap, the end flaps around a bit, which could have been prevented with a keeper closer to the clip. I'm also slightly disappointed that it didn't come with the leather key fob like before. These are minor concerns, though. This is a five-star bag, hands down.
I didn't write a review for this product when I first received it because I felt that wouldn't be a fair estimate of one of the major selling points: that the bag will last a lifetime.
Four years later and the tobacco brown messenger bag has aged well, held up magnificently to some tough daily use and acquired a great patina in the process.
I've treated the bag with Mink Oil since first acquiring it, which darkened it up a bit, and the treatment has helped the bag survive a fair bit inclement weather. It has been thrown around, dropped in puddles, dropped in snow, manhandled in airports(usually accompanied by compliments), spilled on by various fluids, caught in torrential downpours, et cetera, etc. and the bag appears to be in better condition today than the day I received it in the mail. None of the thread in the seams have frayed or broken, the rivets are all in excellent condition with no damage/tearing to the surrounding leather. I've overloaded the bag on several occasions, when forced to by circumstance, and it has been no worse for it.
A common complaint, and my only one, is the weight of it. I'm an average build, 5'10" and relatively fit. Wearing the bag for a day over a single shoulder, with only a modest load(5-6 lbs.) can get a bit sore. The wide shoulder pads do help distribute the weight and this would be an issue for any messenger bag being slung over a shoulder all day but it is emphasized by the natural, empty weight of the bag. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone reading this review as the weight of the bag also reinforces the quality of it. This isn't three sheets of kleenex you are packing around that will fail you the first time it is put to the test. This is a durable, strong and classic bag. It will take more of a beating than you during your travels and look better for it. The same won't always be the case for you!
I have a couple of SBL bags of varying sizes now but this one remains my favourite, by a large margin, and I use it almost daily. If I had to pick just one bag to use no matter where my adventures take me, be it the urban jungle, frozen north or more tropical climates, then this is it.
If you are on the fence about it, not quite able to make the leap due to the cost, let me allay your concerns. Buy the messenger bag; you won't regret it. It truly is the perfect bag.
I bought this bag six months ago or so as a self-present. I've been getting compliments on it -- in airports, at work, in coffee shops -- since.
What I like most is that it is really built to last. The quality of the craftsmanship and the thought that went into making a nearly indestructible product makes me feel smart every time I fling it over my shoulder. It fits my Dell (I know minus points, its from work) like a champ; I toss a notebook, chargers, pens, etc., on the other side of the divider; and put magazines (print!) in the outside pouch. And, this is silly but really interesting -- the key holder strap is actually easy to use and is secure. I can't tell you how many backpacks I've owned where the key holder thing was a total pain to use.
Keep up the good work. Can't wait until I figure out what I'm buying next.
Ordered messenger bag on line . Could not believe the quality of this product (first class ) when i opened the package .living in australia and traveling the world each year i have see many leather bags but not one would shine a light on the workmanship and quality of the leather .if ur looking for a mid sized leather bag ,look no further this is it /well done to all the people at saddleback ,u have set the standard .
This is a very professional looking bag. It looks tough, too, and certainly feels tough. I got the tobacco leather Messenger. Dave (the owner of Saddleback) is correct in saying the leather his company uses does tell a tale. My bag has a rather distinct scar on the front flap that really looks like it was made by a barbed wire or something similar. It's pretty cool to look at. That's one of the reasons I went with tobacco - it just feels like all those features are more noticeable in the light color that is tobacco.
I also felt that tobacco would scuff up easier during everyday wear and tear. I seriously cannot wait for this bag to wear in. Granted, I'm not hiking Kilimanjaro but it's bound to take a "big city" hit or two during a subway ride.
That said, watch the video associated with this bag - Dave clearly talks about dimensions. My MacBook Pro 13" model fits rather nicely in there. My Lenovo 15" that I carry for work everyday does jut out the top about an inch or so. Doesn't bother me any and the front flap closes just fine (latches in at the 2nd or 3rd hole from the bottom). The top of the bag does sit at a slight angle with the 15" but, as I said, it really looks fine to me. I carry it along with my iPad Mini housed in Saddleback's Bible cover (with closure).
Also keep in mind, there are no pockets or anything inside. It's just a big hole with a divider in it. For those of us who carry a lot of little things, it may be best to invest in a cable pouch from Saddleback. It'll keep all your stuff in one spot. I suppose you can use another container, too.
As others have mentioned, the bag is heavy. It feels solid. But it looks awesome. It truly has that "last bag I'll ever buy" vibe. I first thought, since it's not the cheapest thing out there, that I would baby it but I've now decided against that. I want to use this and use it well. I won't abuse the bag but I won't pamper it, either.
I got a chestnut Messenger Bag, I love it! I have to keep an eye on it at work, covetous eyes. The leather is beautiful and smells great!
