I love big bags that I can put a lot in and still feel comfortable carrying on my shoulder. As a teacher, a journal writer, a mandala- coloring-with-all-the-markers-crayons-pencils: This bag hold it all-with room for a weekend change of clothes! And it’s beautiful!!

So, a week ago I had never heard of this company, but I have been looking for a huge, beautiful, STURDY tote for at least a decade now. I am a teacher who lugs books, papers and a laptop to and from school every day, and I am telling you I have looked *everywhere* and tried every so-called premium bag you can think of. And then, one day, Google showed me a bag from this site. I started researching, reading all of the reviews, and watching the sales videos they make here (which are fantastic!!! So helpful!!) and decided to try the giant tote in tobacco. Then I wondered, what did I just do?? I ordered this bag from a site I had never heard of before now!!! Well, a week later it’s here—super fast shipping and beautifully packaged with artisan style touches—and my search is OVER!!!!! It is BIG, it is BEAUTIFUL, and it is STURDY!!! I am in LOVE!!!!! It almost makes me glad the summer is over!! Ok, that last part is not quite true, but I can’t tell you how many Frye and Coach bags (among so many others!!) I tried before I found this perfect bag. Oh, and the tobacco color is gorgeous!!! All of the glowing reviews are true, and if you are still on the fence make sure you watch the video, because what you see there is exactly what you get!! In fact, my only gripe is that the site is now having a 25% off sale, and I missed it!! Oh well—i might just have to get another!!!

Weekend on the (San Juan) Islands , kid's soccer tournament or just a jaunt down the street for a religious study group this sturdy and substantial tote handles these tasks and a lot more. And, of course, it's lovely. My only recommendation is to not get anxious if the handles slip off your shoulder... just carry some heavy objects for a day or so and the handles will start to give... similar to other quality SBL/L41 products. Anyone considering this bag should do so with confidence. With my SBL EDC satchel (small) and SBL drawstring backpack and L41 Gladstone purse (medium) this LARGE bag completes my collection -for now :-)

I had been drooling over this bag for weeks before the HFO sale. Of course, I had to give in! I bought in both the tb and dcb. I kept the dcb because I thought the finish would be better for my purposes. I plan to use the bag for the pool and the beach. It easily fits 6 beach towels (the amount I typically take to the pool), a large pouch (from the 3-piece set sold here) filled with kids' things, my wallet, phone, pool odds and ends (lotion, etc), with room to spare. The leather is thick and strong. The bag can stand up on its own, but I do plan to get a felt insert for it for added organization. For reference, the tb was gorgeous too; I just thought that finish might be a little more delicate for what I intend to use the bag for. Both finishes were beautiful.

I had been eying this one to use as a pool/beach type of bag for a while now. I'm so glad this was released in the Tobacco color. This tobacco leather (May 2021) is a beautiful darker marbled color with a ton of character. It is supple and light-weight. The handles are a bit stiff right now, but they are padded. They stay on my shoulder and make the bag comfortable to hold when it's full. I can carry 4 regular sized beach towels, extra clothes for my two young kids, sunscreen, bug spray, goggles, my small bluetooth speaker, and there's still some room left for a few snacks, wallet, and sunglasses. I'm about 5'6" and the bag hits just below my hip.

This bag has a similar capacity to the Zipper tote (when the Zipper tote is extended).
